Authorised and regulated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection, our houses are situated in residential areas of Chester, in the hub of new and modern developments, close to the River Dee and the historic ruins, it is also close by train station and bus routes. The main high street, with an eclectic mix of shops and bars is close by, as are lots of international restaurants, sports centres and mulitplex cinema.
At Special Needs Care we define care as family life in a family home, so our Service Users live in delightful private properties in pleasant residential areas.
With a MAXIMUM of three service users per property and 24 hour staffing, each Special Needs Care home is a self-sufficient household with daily cooking and cleaning, entertaining and relaxation - and integration into the local community with an emphasis on meaningful daytime activities via Individual Care Plans. Each person has their own room, and can enjoy the shared facilities of large kitchens and spacious sitting rooms furnished with comprehensive home entertainment and music systems.
Our Service Users are encouraged to explore beyond their immediate boundaries, and our well organised accompanied holidays to surrounding countryside such as the Lake District, Peak District and Snowdonia (families are welcome to join us!), plus trips to towns and cities, cinemas and sports centres, all contribute to the development of users life experiences and informed choices.

"It is important to recognise that anyone, whatever their level of impairment, can express preferences and therefore express choices about how their needs should be met. Our aim is to ensure that all disable people, including those with significant learning disability, are enabled to have a choice and control over how their support needs are met."
