Delightful private homes in residential areas

An exciting city-centre headquarters

Special Needs Care's head office is located in Abbey Square, one of the most prestigious business addresses in Chester, directly adjacent to Chester Cathedral and in close proximity to Chester Town Hall, The Forum Shopping Centre, Chester Library and Cheshire West & Chester Council offices. Part of a quadrangle boasting some of the best Georgian architecture in the city, No. 1 Abbey Square - where the office is based - is accessed via a 14th Century vaulted archway and comprises a three-storey period office building under the auspices of the Dean and Chapter of Chester Cathedral. Here we undertake business administration for our operations, run staff training courses and offer state-of-the-art boardroom facilities to our clients and their families, social services and other users.

Self-sufficient households - four clients maximum

Authorised, regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, the houses we provide for our service users are situated in quiet and safe residential areas in the North West, close to the centre of towns. As such, we are ideally placed to encourage clients to take full advantage of the many social, educational and cultural opportunities available to them.

With a maximum of four clients per property (please note that social services can request this number to be changed without further notice) and 24-hour staffing, each Special Needs Care home is a self-sufficient household with daily cooking and cleaning, entertaining and relaxation schedules. These properties are furnished to a very high standard, and each client has their own room, enjoying the shared facilities of large kitchens and spacious sitting rooms. All of the images on this website feature rooms currently occupied by our service users.
